About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and drive profitable growth and market adoption of Connected Services into BAS service operations in the TXGC region
  • Support field sales, management, and fulfillment teams in implementing strategic growth initiatives and delivering customer value
  • Report to the TXGC Connected Services Leader
  • Manage P&L responsibility and provide monthly revenue forecasting
  • Drive BAS service agreement base growth and BAS repairs, installation, and service turnkey growth with the acquisition team
  • Control budgets and expenses for fleet, uniforms, tools, and safety equipment
  • Manage risk in service agreements, service turnkey, and repairs work
  • Oversee BAS service coordination for emergency repairs, maintenance contracts, scheduled work, upgrades, installations, replacement components, and long-term service agreements
  • Attract, coach, counsel, train, and develop BAS service employees
  • Drive continuous improvement through performance management and technical product training
  • Develop employee customer service, process, and technical skills
  • Confirm margin expectations during sales and fulfillment activities
  • Maximize cash flow through timely invoicing, expense budget management, and increased service-team utilization
  • Create and ensure adherence to standard service work processes
  • Improve transactional processes and customer satisfaction
  • Ensure environmental, health, and safety compliance within the service team
  • Train employees to maintain a safe and productive work environment at the shop and customer sites
  • Travel to customer job sites as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in HVAC or a related field, technical systems, equipment, or skilled trades
  • 3+ years of experience managing and coaching large teams and organizing work schedules
  • Project management skills to oversee and drive successful project execution for startups and customer requests
  • Tech-savvy with expertise in Microsoft applications
  • Salesforce and Worksight experience considered an asset
  • Valid driver’s license held for a minimum of 12 months
  • No major or frequent traffic violations, including DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving, multiple smaller infractions, or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years
  • Willingness to travel to customer job sites, including outdoor work and mechanical/equipment rooms
  • Ability to work in variable weather conditions, around moving mechanical parts, at heights, and in other variable environmental conditions
  • Safety Sensitive role may require additional drug screening
  • Alignment with the company’s leadership principles
