  • Perform refrigeration, electrical, control, mechanical, and electronic repairs

  • Service blood bank freezers and refrigerators, centrifuges, chillers, CO2 and LN2 backup systems, cold traps, control rate freezers, cycle chambers, environmental chambers, freeze dryers, glassware washers, ice makers, incubators, laboratory freezers, liquid nitrogen freezers, ovens, plasma freezers, refrigerators, shakers, speed vacs, steam generators, ultra-cold freezers, vapor traps, and walk-in freezers and refrigerators

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Refrigeration training and 2+ years of hands-on experience
  • Valid driver's license held for at least 12 months with a clean record
  • Universal EPA Certification preferred
  • Electrical and control troubleshooting experience required
  • Willingness to pass a government background check
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Trade School Certificate, Military/Formal Training, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to operate a vehicle using a seat belt safely and legally
  • Ability to wear helmets, safety goggles, fall protection harness, and safety boots
  • Ability to twist the trunk 90 degrees in each direction
  • Ability to squat and touch the floor with both hands
  • Ability to reach hands over the head
  • Ability to regularly use hands and fingers, walk, stoop, kneel, and climb ladders
  • Ability to lift or move up to 10 lbs. regularly, up to 40 lbs. frequently, and more than 40 lbs. occasionally
  • Ability to work in variable temperature conditions, around moving mechanical parts, heights, electrical shock risks, noisy operating equipment, and other variable environmental conditions
