Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the primary service and maintenance contact for Trane Technologies customers in a defined commercial market
Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems in commercial environments
Apply knowledge of air conditioning theory, pipe fitting, and mechanical layouts
Coordinate with team leaders, project managers, and customers to understand requirements for on-site installations and repairs
Forecast issues, gather materials, and synchronize on-site work
Serve as the direct customer contact and maintain responsibility for assigned products and equipment
Identify, diagnose, and repair equipment and systems at customer locations
Use software, technology, hand tools, blueprints, and engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units
Maintain flexibility for overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight stays
Enforce high safety standards and record the use, wear, and condition of company-issued and procured assets

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Typically 5 plus years of experience in HVAC
Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software
Working proficiency with handheld computers, such as smartphones and iPads
Valid driver’s license held for a minimum of 12 months
No major or frequent traffic violations, including DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving, multiple smaller infractions, or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years
EPA Certification
Ability to work overtime and weekends as required, including occasional overnight stays
Ability to work in a safety-sensitive role and pass additional drug screening if required
