About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the primary contact for external and internal customers interacting with Parts & Supply, Order Management
  • Answer parts-order queries through case management tools, email, and other digital methods
  • Work with customer associates and functional groups to answer customer questions and concerns
  • Attend customer service-related projects such as MDI (Monitoring for Daily Improvement)
  • Check availability of parts or equipment, including part components
  • Locate parts and process orders for external customers
  • Work cross-functionally to expedite orders
  • Coordinate with planning, operations, and the field to meet promise dates
  • Manage open orders, monitor reports, and keep customers informed
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to meet customer demands
  • Apply judgment, problem solving, and decision making while maintaining a friendly, professional customer focus
  • Support process improvements and continuous learning
  • Perform other duties assigned by the order management team leader

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree with 1+ years of experience in a customer service role desired
  • In lieu of a degree, 5+ years of experience in a related customer service role may be considered
  • Industry knowledge highly preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently
  • Basic data analysis related to customer service and order management
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook
  • Positive, energetic, customer-centric attitude focused on building relationships
  • Ability to prioritize work based on customer need and multitask in a high-volume, transactional environment
  • Must maintain professionalism with customers, coworkers, and functional teams
