About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead Service Parts & Supplies product line strategy development, P&L, and yearly operating planning
- Lead Product Growth Team and strategic A3 activities for both portfolios
- Partner with Supply Chain, Procurement, and Engineering
- Maintain channel engagement with direct retail stores, e-tailers, independent distributors, and operations teams
- Identify growth opportunities through collaboration with internal plants and external supply partners
- Prepare regular business pulse and financial reports on volume, profitability, and quality targets
- Understand unmet customer needs and determine features for new products or line extensions
- Maintain an updated product mix using business operating system standard work and tools
- Conduct customer-focused portfolio reviews and support product lifecycle management, including product rationalization
- Coordinate portfolio marketing strategy, targeted programs, promotions, and countermeasures with marketing, commercialization, and sales teams
- Conduct industry, market, competitor, consumer, and customer segmentation analysis
- Quantify growth opportunities in faster-growing and more profitable markets
- Train Account Managers on the Service Parts & Supplies product line
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be able to travel 15% of the time
- Minimum of 4 years of functional experience
- 4-year degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- MBA preferred
- Understanding of product life-cycle management
- Strong business acumen and experience building strategies
- Sales and marketing knowledge, including marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems
- Ability to analyze end-user and channel segments
- Pricing strategy knowledge
- Strong analytical and financial skills
- Strong relationship-building and influencing skills
- Energetic, passionate, driven, and strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal, communication, and presentation skills
