About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support sales teams, customers, and stakeholders with technical advice to develop and implement products and service solutions
  • Develop business development relationships with sales, customers, and sub-contractors
  • Procure all equipment and subcontract works for controlled projects
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls to suppliers, sales teams, customers, and stakeholders
  • Communicate complex technical engineering activities to non-technical stakeholders
  • Attend site visits with Sales Engineers and stakeholders to advise and produce costings and quotes
  • Participate in reviews of new projects and finalize designs at commercial level
  • Attend project handovers to confirm scope and timeline requirements
  • Produce detailed project plans and troubleshoot technical engineering issues
  • Coordinate equipment parts and subcontractors to meet deadlines
  • Provide technical support to clients and sales engineers
  • Manage installation and commissioning of industrial cooling systems
  • Manage engineers and teams on site, ensuring contract agreements and health and safety standards are maintained
  • Identify resources and assign responsibilities
  • Control project finances, including budgets and costs
  • Assist in filtering design flaws throughout the project

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Knowledge of manufacturing industry is an advantage
  • Project Engineer background is an advantage
  • Project Management with commercial experience at intermediate level
  • People and communication skills with a positive mindset
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and Computer-Aided Design (CAD)
  • National travel and able to travel to other Countries when required
  • Right to Work status confirmed for Country of application
  • UK drivers’ licence
