About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administer, implement, and manage HVAC equipment projects
- Manage assigned projects' scope of work, schedule, and budget
- Plan and analyze assigned projects; establish schedules, project parameters, and procedures
- Communicate with customers and representatives, including building owners, mechanical contractors, other trades, subcontractors, and field support staff
- Investigate customer concerns, implement corrective action, and maintain customer satisfaction
- Compare estimated ship dates with contractor project schedules and ensure compliance with internal equipment ordering processes
- Maintain forecasted cost-at-completion accuracy and control expenses by monitoring project budgets
- Create and revise project schedules, including tasks, estimates, dependencies, and milestones
- Enter equipment orders, issue purchases, and generate work orders for equipment start-ups
- Manage project cash flow, including progress billing, collections support and monitoring, and resource management
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate’s Degree in business or equivalent with a minimum of two (2) years of project management, equipment, HVAC or related experience; OR a minimum of four (4) years of project management, equipment, HVAC or related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Familiarity with HVAC systems and temperature equipment preferred
- Strong, demonstrated customer service and problem solving skills
- Strong communication skills
- Proactive approach with willingness to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proven experience prioritizing tasks to meet tight deadlines in a high paced environment with attention to detail
