About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support Trane Digital Services and Connected customers
- Use Trane Connect and Command Center to enable, map, and tune equipment analytics
- View remote diagnostics
- Perform remote Digital Inspections
- Capture follow-up items and details in the Trane Connect platform
- Respond to on-demand calls
- Monitor critical building metrics
- Check systems for operational integrity
- Make small-scale adjustments to building system programs
- Collaborate with Digital Services Team members and customers
- Communicate effectively in writing and verbally
Requirements
What you’ll need- Technical diploma in building mechanics, refrigeration, or industrial automation, and a minimum of five years of experience in a similar position, or an equivalent combination of work and education
- Strong communication skills
- Mathematical aptitude
- Reasoning ability
- Ability to work outdoors, in mechanical rooms, and in extreme conditions and temperatures
- Ability to work around moving mechanical parts, heavy equipment, elevated locations, wet conditions, airborne vapors and particles, vibrations, high-voltage electrical shock risks, and potentially toxic or caustic chemicals
- Ability to meet the physical requirements, including standing, walking, manipulating objects, lifting up to 40 pounds frequently and over 40 pounds occasionally, and visual acuity
- Safety-sensitive role; may require additional drug screening
