About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced machine learning models and algorithms for complex business problems
  • Implement MLOps practices for model training, versioning, monitoring, deployment, and scalability
  • Develop experimental designs and statistical frameworks to evaluate data science solutions
  • Collaborate with data engineers, product owners, sales leaders, IT, and business stakeholders
  • Support end-to-end development from ideation through deployment
  • Conduct peer reviews and foster continuous improvement and learning
  • Champion data science best practices, data governance, model validation, and ethical AI
  • Identify opportunities to use new data sources and data science tools that add value and reduce costs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 6+ years of experience in data science and machine learning
  • Ideally, experience within the manufacturing, HVAC, or Supply Chain industry
  • Expertise in machine learning and statistical model development
  • Experience designing experiments to evaluate and measure model impact
  • Proven track record deploying impactful machine learning models into production environments
  • Experience with cloud environments, preferably GCP and AWS
  • Capability to develop data science solutions in SQL, R, and/or Python
  • Ability to utilize and adapt open-source solutions
  • Ability to explain complex mathematical and statistical concepts in simple terms and relate them to business challenges
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Demonstrated prior experience in NLP, large language models, or generative AI
  • Agile experience is a plus
  • Experience with ERP and CRM systems is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
