About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform end-to-end testing, downloading programming, startup, commissioning, and servicing on assigned projects
  • Serve as the direct customer contact for assigned products and equipment
  • Identify, examine, diagnose, and repair equipment and systems at customer locations
  • Coordinate with team leaders, project managers, and customers to understand on-site installation and repair requirements
  • Forecast issues, gather materials, and synchronize on-site work
  • Use software, technology, and hand tools to diagnose and repair units
  • Follow blueprints or engineering specifications
  • Enforce high safety standards
  • Maintain security and accountability of company-issued and procured assets by recording use, wear, and conditions
  • Mentor team members
  • Maintain flexibility to work overtime and occasional overnight stays

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, or certificate of completion from an accredited technical school required
  • At least 10 or more years of experience in HVAC
  • Technical School or formal training preferred
  • Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software
  • Working proficiency with a handheld computer, such as a smartphone or iPad
  • Valid driver's license held for a minimum of 12 months
  • No major or frequent traffic violations or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years
  • EPA Universal Certification required
  • Ability to work overtime and weeks as business requires, including occasional overnight stays
  • Safety-sensitive role that may require additional drug screening
