Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Technical diploma in building mechanics, refrigeration, or industrial automation, and a minimum of five years of experience in a similar position, or an equivalent combination of work and education
  • Strong communication skills
  • Mathematical aptitude
  • Reasoning ability
  • Ability to work outdoors, in mechanical rooms, and in extreme conditions and temperatures
  • Ability to work around moving mechanical parts, heavy equipment, elevated locations, wet conditions, airborne vapors and particles, vibrations, high voltages, and potentially toxic or caustic chemicals
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements, including standing, walking, manipulating objects, lifting up to 40 pounds frequently and over 40 pounds occasionally, and visual acuity requirements
  • Safety-sensitive role; may require passing additional drug screening
