Key responsibilities & impact

Work collaboratively with development staff, including contract and offshore Software Engineers, and business product owners in an agile environment
Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain software applications and services
Participate in technical analysis, solution design, and system architecture discussions
Contribute to design reviews and provide recommendations for complex technical challenges
Evaluate solution options based on business requirements, scalability, security, performance, and cost
Develop and support integrations, APIs, and distributed application architectures
Partner with internal and external resources, vendors, and offshore teams to deliver project objectives
Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement
Support production applications, troubleshoot issues, and participate in problem resolution efforts
Present technical concepts and project updates to technical and non-technical audiences
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to other engineers

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Three years of experience developing software applications using [Primary Programming Language/Platform]
Strong understanding of software development principles, object-oriented design, and application architecture
Two years of experience with database design, development, and data modeling concepts
Experience developing, supporting, and integrating enterprise applications
Experience working with APIs, service-oriented architectures, and system integrations
Experience utilizing cloud technologies and modern development platforms
Familiarity with source control, automated testing, deployment automation, and CI/CD practices
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
