About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute partnership strategies across data center, utility, energy infrastructure, distributed energy, and grid services markets
  • Identify, recruit, negotiate, onboard, and manage strategic partnerships
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with utilities, hyperscalers, data center operators, technology providers, OEMs, channel partners, developers, and energy service providers
  • Own the full partner lifecycle, including identification, qualification, onboarding, enablement, performance management, and strategic growth
  • Develop joint business plans, go-to-market strategies, and co-selling initiatives
  • Serve as primary relationship owner for key strategic partners
  • Collaborate with Sales on opportunities, account strategies, partner engagement, and complex commercial pursuits
  • Drive partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline growth
  • Structure, negotiate, and execute commercial agreements and strategic alliances
  • Partner with Marketing on campaigns, events, thought leadership, and customer-facing programs
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Executive Leadership
  • Monitor industry trends, customer needs, competitive activity, and regulatory developments
  • Establish performance metrics, forecasting processes, and business reviews
  • Represent TransGrid Energy at industry conferences, customer engagements, and partner forums
  • Build scalable partner processes, engagement models, and governance frameworks
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8–12+ years of experience in partner management, partner sales, business development, or ecosystem roles
  • Proven track record of recruiting, enabling, and monetizing partners
  • Experience building or significantly scaling a partner program from an early stage
  • Strong experience driving partner-led revenue, including sourcing, co-selling, and owning the deal cycle
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of energy markets, energy storage, distributed energy resources, grid services, utility programs, demand response, and emerging energy technologies
  • Strong executive communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects across Sales, Marketing, Product, and partner teams
  • Sales-first mindset and high ownership
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and ability to use data to justify investments
  • Ability to travel up to 20–30% as required
  • Bachelor's degree or higher, as required by the application question
  • Authorization to work in the United States before joining; no current or future sponsorship available
