About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and manage the Parcel Sales team to identify and develop new clients and partnerships
- Train the Sales team to communicate TransImpact’s value proposition through presentations, proposals, and post-sale activities
- Oversee and prioritize sales activities to meet annual KPIs
- Manage personal productivity and time efficiently
- Ensure the Sales team meets annual KPIs and maintains CRM compliance
- Plan and oversee client business portfolios in alignment with company directives
- Respond promptly to sales inquiries and follow up using company-approved methods
- Utilize and maintain sales, customer, and prospect contact tools and systems
- Develop and implement business processes, policies, and plans to improve Sales team effectiveness
- Facilitate profitable business development and sustainable relationships through communication, liaison, and negotiation
- Participate in joint sales calls, deliver presentations, and steer opportunities through the sales funnel to successful closures
- Perform other duties needed to drive the company vision, fulfill its mission, and support organizational values
Requirements
What you’ll need- A Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) is preferred, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- At least 10 years of experience in sales management and/or managerial leadership, particularly with a remote workforce
- Proven experience in C-Level B2B sales and account management
- Parcel industry experience highly valued
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including phone etiquette and presentation abilities
- Competence addressing client queries, resolving issues, and negotiating sales-related matters
- Ability to understand, analyze, and interpret business contracts
- Outstanding organizational skills with ability to handle multiple tasks in situations with limited standardization
- Problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to various situations
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and participate in trade shows as required
