About the role

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted for permanent residence
  • At least one year of experience interpreting in a judicial environment
  • Ability to interpret for immigration courts
  • Experience with simultaneous interpretation, consecutive interpretation, and sight translation
  • Spanish, Turkish, Hindi, Punjabi, Nepalese, Haitian Creole, or another qualified language
  • Resume and brief summary of judicial/legal interpreting experience
  • Language pair(s), certification(s), and availability must be included in the application
