About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Translate and proofread documents for clients in the Investment Banking sector
- Create and finalize translated deliverables before client delivery
- Translate from Traditional Chinese (Taiwan) into English
- Handle Investment Banking – Market Commentary materials
- Collaborate with managers and Project Managers
- Work under tight deadlines while maintaining professionalism and accuracy
Requirements
What you’ll need- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Traditional Chinese (Taiwan)
- Specialized in Investment Banking – Market Commentary
- Acute attention to detail, spelling and grammar
- Ability to maintain professionalism in all situations, especially under tight deadlines
- Asian time zone preferred
- Must sign a confidentiality agreement
- Must complete free Translation and Proofreading tests
- Must undergo a background check
- Latest CV required, including relevant Translation and Proofreading experience and proposed rates
- One of the following: a degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies (or equivalent degree with significant translation training) from a recognized institution; 2 years of translation experience and a college degree; 5 years of translation experience and no college degree; or a certificate of competence in translation awarded by an appropriate government body
- English and Traditional Chinese (Taiwan) language proficiency
