Translate and proofread documents for a variety of clients
Create and finalize translated content before delivery to clients
Translate from English into Danish
Work on Legal materials, including Terms/Conditions and Contracts
Work on Information Technology materials, including User Interface content
Collaborate with the manager and Project Managers
Meet translation needs of international clients
Maintain quality under tight deadlines

Requirements

What you’ll need

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Danish
Specialized in Legal (Terms/Conditions and Contracts) and/or Information Technology (User Interface)
Acute attention to detail, spelling and grammar
Ability to maintain professionalism in all situations, especially under tight deadlines
Applicants must sign a confidentiality agreement
Applicants must complete Translation, MTPE, and Proofreading/QM tests
One of the following: a degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies (or equivalent degree with significant translation training) from a recognized higher-education institution; 2 years of translation experience and a college degree; 5 years of translation experience and no college degree; or a certificate of competence in translation awarded by an appropriate government body
Relevant Translation, MTPE, and Proofreading/QM experience to be included in CV
Proposed Translation, MTPE, and Proofreading per-word rates in USD to be included in CV
