About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Translate and proofread documents for a variety of clients
- Create and finalize translated content before delivery to the client
- Translate from English into Danish
- Work on legal Terms/Conditions and Contracts
- Work on Information Technology User Interface content
- Collaborate with managers and Project Managers
- Include relevant Translation, MTPE, and Proofreading/QM experience and proposed per-word rates in the CV
Requirements
What you’ll need- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Danish
- Specialization in Legal (Terms/Conditions and Contracts) and/or Information Technology (User Interface)
- Acute attention to detail, spelling, and grammar
- Ability to maintain professionalism in all situations, especially under tight deadlines
- Applicants must sign a confidentiality agreement
- Applicants must complete Translation, MTPE, and Proofreading/QM tests
- A degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies, or an equivalent degree including significant translation training, from a recognized institution of higher education; OR
- 2 years of translation experience and a college degree; OR
- 5 years of translation experience and no college degree; OR
- A certificate of competence in translation awarded by an appropriate government body
