About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Translate and proofread documents for a variety of clients
- Create and finalize translated content before delivery to clients
- Translate from English into Vietnamese
- Work on materials in Marketing, Corporate Communication, and Retail
- Collaborate with managers and Project Managers
- Meet translation needs of international clients
- Complete Translation, MTPE, and/or Proofreading/QM tests as requested
Requirements
What you’ll need- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Vietnamese
- Specialized in Marketing, Corporate Communication, and Retail
- Acute attention to detail, spelling, and grammar
- Ability to maintain professionalism in all situations, especially under tight deadlines
- Must sign a confidentiality agreement
- Must complete Translation, MTPE, and/or Proofreading/QM tests
- Degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies, or an equivalent degree including significant translation training, from a recognized institution of higher education; OR
- 2 years of translation experience and a college degree; OR
- 5 years of translation experience and no college degree; OR
- Certificate of competence in translation awarded by an appropriate government body
- English-to-Vietnamese translation capability
- Latest CV must include relevant Translation, MTPE, and Proofreading/QM experience and proposed per-word rates in USD
