About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage external partners to drive performance and ensure commercial operations run smoothly and compliantly
  • Contribute to revenue optimisation through engagement with internal teams and external partnered agencies
  • Analyse processes to identify trends, provide recommendations, and drive process improvements
  • Support the Recoveries Team Leader with daily management, coaching, and team upskilling
  • Prepare monthly accruals, validate invoices, and perform reconciliations
  • Act as a key contact for escalated customer accounts and ensure corrective action aligns with company policy
  • Support achievement of key performance indicators through quality checks, training, and performance guidance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience within a credit or debt collection agency (DCA) management function overseeing external partners or vendors to drive performance in a commercially focused environment
  • Strong knowledge of credit/DCA processes
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, including ASIC/ACCC guidelines
  • Knowledge of credit reporting methodologies
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership or 2IC capacity
  • Passion for upskilling team members
