About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead a team of structural design engineers and Revit modelers/detailers
- Perform structural engineering of precast/pre-stressed concrete products and connections for large commercial buildings, including stadiums/arenas, parking garages, office buildings, and warehouses
- Prepare and/or check engineering calculations, structural drawings, and details
- Check drawings and coordinate with clients, including architects, other engineers, and general contractors
- Work as part of a project team to provide deliverables and meet deadlines
- Provide quality control and quality assurance to ensure high-quality, on-time deliverables
- Assist with all aspects of project management from project setup through design and construction administration
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with Structural Emphasis, or Architectural Engineering
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
- 10+ years of experience in the structural design of pre-cast concrete multi-level parking or other commercial structures
- Technical skills sufficient to execute assignments independently
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD
- Working knowledge of Revit is a plus
- Communication and interpersonal skills for effective project team collaboration and relationship building
- Highly organized and self-motivated
- Willing and able to adapt to changing business needs
