About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform electrical design layout functions for circuit boards, including single board computers and passive backplanes
  • Create design output documentation, including artwork gerbers and insertion files
  • Review design output documentation for completeness
  • Support manufacturing resources on technical issues
  • Provide vendors with technical support
  • Participate in design reviews as needed
  • Support the Engineering Manager with special projects
  • Identify process efficiency and product/service improvements
  • Provide input to the continuous improvement team
  • Identify and manage risks in products, processes, and the environment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • AS or equivalent, including experience
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in PCB layout
  • Knowledge of CAD PCB layout tools (Xpedition)
  • Able to work collaboratively with other Engineering personnel
  • No recruiters please
