About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Translate Trexquant's strategic vision into clear, measurable company-wide goals and execution plans
Drive development of a unified research and trading platform supporting cross-region and cross-asset quantitative strategies
Coordinate research, engineering, data, trading, execution, and operational teams to deliver necessary infrastructure
Establish priorities, milestones, ownership, and timelines for major initiatives and track progress
Identify bottlenecks and dependencies from research idea through backtesting and production
Expand firm capabilities across equities, futures, corporate bonds, options, ETFs, FX, and other asset classes
Coordinate operational infrastructure for trading across markets, brokers, counterparties, and execution venues
Develop scalable processes as the firm grows
Hold teams accountable for results and remove organizational and technical obstacles
Identify opportunities to automate processes and use AI to improve research, engineering, trading, and operations efficiency

Requirements

What you’ll need

Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional organizations or initiatives
Exceptional ability to set goals and drive execution
Ability to break large, ambiguous problems into concrete and manageable projects
Understanding of technology and quantitative systems sufficient to work effectively with researchers and engineers
Ability to coordinate many simultaneous initiatives while maintaining focus on larger objectives
Ability to create accountability through clear ownership and measurable outcomes
Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn unfamiliar areas quickly
Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment where priorities evolve
Ability to work across highly technical teams and understand complex systems
Ability to identify important problems, ask the right questions, establish priorities, and ensure solutions are delivered
