About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage group-wide IT and infrastructure projects from planning through implementation
  • Support the development of the new IT operating model with centralized standards, platforms, and services
  • Support the rollout and further development of ServiceNow across existing and newly established companies
  • Coordinate IT service providers and implementation partners
  • Monitor quality, timelines, dependencies, and agreed deliverables
  • Coordinate IT and cybersecurity audits and assessments
  • Track actions arising from audits and assessments
  • Coordinate technical changes and rollouts with local IT contacts
  • Prepare project status updates, risks, and matters requiring decisions for the Head of IT

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Several years of experience delivering complex IT projects
  • Experience managing external IT service providers
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft 365
  • Understanding of cloud computing, endpoint management, identity and access management, IT infrastructure, and IT security
  • Experience with ITSM or project management tools
  • Structured, independent approach to work
  • Ability to explain complex IT topics clearly and build trust
  • Confident and professional manner, even when facing resistance
  • German proficiency at least at C1 level, both spoken and written
  • English proficiency at least at B2 level, both spoken and written
  • Willingness to travel within Germany approximately three to four days per month
  • Practical experience that can be demonstrated is more important than formal qualifications
  • Preferred, but not required: experience with ServiceNow or comparable ITSM platforms, cybersecurity audits, or managed service transitions
  • Preferred, but not required: knowledge of ITIL, ISO 27001, or NIS2
