About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the commercial development of the PVC business in Turkey, covering domestic and indent sales
- Drive sustainable growth in sales volume, revenue, margin, and market share
- Develop and execute commercial strategies to achieve annual sales, profitability, and growth targets
- Build and expand relationships with key customers and strategic business partners across the Turkish polymer market
- Identify new business opportunities, acquire customer accounts, and expand market presence
- Monitor market trends, supply and demand, pricing, competitors, and regulatory developments
- Lead commercial negotiations, annual contracts, spot transactions, and profitable sales agreements
- Manage pricing, credit, and commercial risks
- Develop sales forecasts, budgets, and business plans for the assigned product portfolio
- Coordinate with global trading, logistics, supply chain, finance, and operations teams
- Provide market intelligence updates on customer needs, industry developments, competition, and growth opportunities
- Manage customer credit exposure and support collection of outstanding receivables
- Maintain accurate sales pipelines, customer activity, and market information in CRM and reporting systems
- Represent the company through customer visits, industry events, exhibitions, and business travel
- Ensure compliance with company policies, commercial procedures, and applicable trade regulations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Business, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, or a related discipline
- Minimum 7 years of experience in polymer, petrochemical, chemical, or related B2B sales
- Solid knowledge of the PVC market
- Technical experience in specialty PVC sales in Turkey would be a plus
- Demonstrated success in developing business, managing key accounts, and consistently achieving commercial targets
- Experience in domestic and indent sales within the Turkish market is highly preferred
- Strong commercial mindset with excellent negotiation and relationship management skills
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with the ability to work independently
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Collaborative team player who builds strong working relationships across departments
- Willingness to travel extensively within Turkey and internationally
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Fluency in both Turkish and English is required
