About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Take inbound phone calls from clients, customers, and patients to obtain patient billing and demographic information
  • Sort incoming returned patient mail and electronically return patient statements with information
  • Research and resolve customer accounts using patient files and eligibility websites
  • Document all customer contact completely and ensure follow-through and issue resolution
  • Update multiple systems with patient information
  • Perform account adjustments and recommend necessary changes to the supervisor
  • Complete weekly and monthly reports according to schedule
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor to support organizational goals
  • Meet weekly/monthly performance and audit goals
  • Track daily/weekly/monthly production

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • English written/verbal
  • Intermediate communication skills
  • 1 year of collections experience
  • 1 year of call center experience
  • 1 year of medical billing experience
  • 3–5 years of customer service experience
  • Ability to meet weekly/monthly performance and audit goals
  • Ability to track daily/weekly/monthly production
  • Detail-oriented, innovative, enthusiastic, dedicated, and able to work as a team member
  • Ability to work independently and set schedules/goals
