About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support clients at varying locations with project implementation and operational accounting matters
Optimize and further develop accounting processes
Conduct balance sheet analyses and process documentation
Support and/or independently prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Work as a project manager, project team member, or as part of day-to-day operations
Contribute to projects such as establishing shared service centers, accelerating and optimizing financial close processes (Fast Close), or implementing accounting software
Participate in internal training, for example in SAP S/4HANA, Power BI, and Scrum

Requirements

What you’ll need

Successfully completed degree in business administration, economics, or a related field (Bachelor’s/Master’s/Diploma), or comparable commercial training and/or certification as a Financial or Balance Sheet Accountant (IHK)
At least 2 years of professional experience in accounting
Good knowledge of accounting under the German Commercial Code (HGB)
Knowledge of IFRS is desirable but not required
Initial experience with a standard ERP system is required (e.g., SAP or Navision)
Excellent knowledge of MS Office
Fluent German-language skills
Excellent communication and analytical skills
High degree of initiative and enthusiasm for working independently on projects
