About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of an assigned finance unit
  • Supervise staff responsible for financial processes
  • Lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting activities
  • Oversee preparation and review of financial statements
  • Monitor financial performance and identify risks, variances, and corrective actions compared to budgets and forecasts
  • Manage performance, development, and accountability of assigned team members
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts to support accurate, timely financial operations and compliance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate's degree in a Business field and three (3) years of experience in Accounting, Finance, and/or developing and preparing financial reports; OR Bachelor's degree in a Business field and one (1) year of experience in Accounting, Finance, and/or developing and preparing financial reports; OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must reside within North Carolina
  • Must be able to travel within catchment as required
  • Preferred: Experience with claims payments and/or purchasing
  • Preferred: Experience with D365 Financial System and/or Conduent Meditract system
  • Preferred: Supervision of two (2) or more employees
  • All candidates must pass a drug test as a condition of employment
