About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead drainage discipline engineering teams for transportation DB and/or PDB pursuits and projects
  • Coordinate with other discipline leads
  • Serve as an integral member of the project delivery team
  • Lead drainage/hydraulic design, analysis, studies, reports, plans, specifications, and quantity tasks
  • Work with local and national contractors to provide innovative solutions for project pursuits and delivery
  • Create value-added designs supporting project success and client goals
  • Grow personally and professionally while working in a team environment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Current PE license, preferred state(s): UT, NV, AZ, ID, CO, NM, WA
  • 10+ years of leading drainage design for infrastructure projects
  • 3+ years of DOT DB or PDB experience
  • Knowledge and experience with Microstation, OpenRoads, and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D, and other applicable software common to transportation drainage engineering
  • Ability to work effectively as a team leader in a group environment and maintain positive relationships with team members and clients
  • Outstanding client and personnel skills and the ability to persuasively communicate at all levels
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven history of meeting project deadlines
  • Ability and commitment to be assigned to local and Rocky Mountain Region wide projects
