About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead drainage discipline engineering teams for transportation Design-Build and/or Progressive Design-Build pursuits and projects
  • Coordinate with other discipline leads
  • Serve as an integral member of the project delivery team
  • Lead drainage/hydraulic design, analysis, studies, reports, plans, specifications, and quantity tasks
  • Use transportation drainage engineering software including MicroStation, OpenRoads, and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Maintain positive relationships with team members and clients
  • Contribute to designs and drawings supporting overall project goals
  • Help drive innovative solutions and value-added designs for project pursuits and delivery

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Current PE license, preferred state(s): UT, NV, AZ, ID, CO, NM, WA
  • 10+ years of leading drainage design for infrastructure projects
  • 3+ years of DOT DB or PDB experience
  • Knowledge and experience with Microstation, OpenRoads, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and other applicable transportation drainage engineering software
  • Must be able to work effectively as a team leader in a group environment and maintain positive relationships with team members and clients
  • Outstanding client and personnel skills and ability to persuasively communicate at all levels
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven history of meeting project deadlines
  • Ability and commitment to be assigned to local and Rocky Mountain Region-wide projects
