About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead drainage discipline engineering teams for transportation DB and/or PDB pursuits and projects, including freeways, interstate highways, interchanges, urban and rural highways, and shared-use facilities
- Coordinate with other discipline leads
- Serve as an integral member of the project delivery team
- Lead drainage/hydraulic design, analysis, studies, reports, plans, specifications, and quantity tasks
- Use Microstation, OpenRoads, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and other applicable transportation drainage engineering software
- Maintain positive relationships with team members and clients
- Support local and Rocky Mountain Region-wide projects
- Create designs and drawings supporting clients' overall project goals
Requirements
What you’ll need- Current PE license, preferred state(s): UT, NV, AZ, ID, CO, NM, WA
- 10+ years of leading drainage design for infrastructure projects
- 3+ years of DOT DB or PDB experience
- Knowledge and experience with Microstation, OpenRoads, and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D, and other applicable software common to transportation drainage engineering
- Must be able to work effectively as a team leader in a group environment and maintain positive relationships with team members and clients
- Outstanding client and personnel skills and the ability to persuasively communicate at all levels
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven history of meeting project deadlines
- Ability and commitment to be assigned to local and Rocky Mountain Region wide projects
