About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead drainage discipline engineering teams for transportation design-build and/or progressive design-build pursuits and projects
- Coordinate with other discipline leads
- Serve as an integral member of the project delivery team
- Lead drainage and hydraulic design, analysis, studies, reports, plans, specifications, and quantity tasks
- Support innovative solutions for transportation projects and value-added designs that contribute to successful pursuits and project delivery
- Work with local and national contractors and clients to drive projects to success
- Create designs and drawings supporting clients’ overall project goals
Requirements
What you’ll need- Current PE license, preferred state(s): UT, NV, AZ, ID, CO, NM, WA
- 10+ years of leading drainage design for infrastructure projects
- 3+ years of DOT DB or PDB experience
- Knowledge and experience with MicroStation, OpenRoads, and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D, and other applicable transportation drainage engineering software
- Must be able to work effectively as a team leader in a group environment and maintain positive relationships with team members and clients
- Outstanding client and personnel skills and the ability to persuasively communicate at all levels
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven history of meeting project deadlines
- Ability and commitment to be assigned to local and Rocky Mountain Region-wide projects
