Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 12+ years of experience as a Transportation Engineer in a consulting environment or public entity
  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager
  • 3+ years of experience managing staff
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • Professional Engineering (P.E.) license or TE (Traffic Engineer) licensure
  • Experience in and knowledge of active, non-motorized transportation
  • Experience preparing Plans, Specifications and Estimates packages for roadway projects
  • Detailed understanding of project management principles, methods and techniques
  • Ability to guide staff members and manage internal team expectations
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and multiple simultaneous projects involving cross-functional teams within budget and schedule constraints
  • Ability and willingness to travel
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and MS Project or equivalent
  • Proficiency in civil engineering software including GEOPAK, InRoads, AutoCAD, Civil3D, OpenRoads Designer, and MicroStation
  • Proficiency in an enterprise-wide resource planning and project management tool
