About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all fleet-related matters, including driver communications, stakeholder updates, and leadership reporting.
  • Partner with Trilon Fleet Leadership, Organization Leadership, and Holman Fleet Management Company for strategic program support and execution.
  • Lead the transition and integration of new acquisitions into the Holman program.
  • Manage strategic rollout of supplementary programs, preferred vendor solutions, and vehicle upfitting initiatives.
  • Oversee vehicle registration, licensing, and insurance documentation across all company-leased vehicles.
  • Ensure insurance, maintenance logs, registrations, MVRs, and driver details are current and accurately uploaded to the fleet management system.
  • Manage the database of company-owned and leased assets, including specialty vehicles, heavy equipment, LiDAR, and survey equipment.
  • Analyze vehicle utilization and identify optimization opportunities, including transitions from mileage reimbursement to company vehicles.
  • Standardize upfitting packages and analyze cost savings associated with consolidated solutions.
  • Collaborate with Procurement and Finance to manage the fuel program and rebate opportunities.
  • Implement and communicate vehicle safety policies, accident prevention strategies, and incident reporting procedures with EHS and Risk/Legal teams.
  • Monitor driver safety metrics, maintain MVR compliance, and ensure insured drivers meet corporate standards.
  • Manage telematics adoption and generate usage and KPI reports.
  • Maintain a centralized fleet and equipment database with real-time visibility and reporting.
  • Monitor fleet and safety KPIs, including FMC performance metrics.
  • Participate in Fleet Leadership calls and facilitate internal fleet team meetings to drive continuous improvement and best practices.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • 3+ years of experience in fleet management, transportation, or related field.
  • Proven experience managing third-party fleet management companies (FMCs), preferably with Holman.
  • Strong understanding of fleet compliance, safety regulations, and risk management.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficiency in telematics systems and fleet management software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on cost control and process improvement.
  • Experience managing diverse vehicle types, including specialty and heavy equipment.
  • Familiarity with environmental and safety compliance (DOT, OSHA, etc.).
  • Experience in multi-site or multi-company fleet operations.
  • Occasional travel may be required to company sites, vendor meetings, or industry conferences.
  • Non traditional work hours may be required.
