About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for water and wastewater projects under the direction of a project manager
  • Support field investigations, inspections, and data collection on active water and wastewater infrastructure
  • Assist in preparing grant and funding program applications, including GIGP, DWSRF, CDBG, and USDA programs
  • Support construction administration tasks, including submittal review and field observation
  • Coordinate with senior engineers on project schedules and deliverables
  • Work toward Professional Engineer (PE) licensure with firm-supported study time and mentorship
  • Participate in Artheon's Blueprint early career development program, including structured mentorship, PE exam study support, and exposure to municipal project delivery

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification, or actively preparing for the FE exam
  • 2-5 years of experience in civil or environmental engineering; water/wastewater exposure preferred
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar design software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
