About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct office visits to establish, develop and maintain business partnerships with targeted healthcare providers and staff within the assigned geographical territory
  • Increase awareness through appropriate scientific information and educational programs for medical professionals
  • Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager to establish and execute an integrated action plan for the assigned region
  • Achieve defined territory and sales goals
  • Implement sales and marketing strategies and plans to obtain sales objectives for assigned products
  • Assist in market development efforts and identify new prescriber opportunities
  • Support product promotion activities for the company's branded product portfolio
  • Deliver approved messaging and materials professionally, accurately and compliantly
  • Document field activity in the CRM system and manage territory metrics
  • Attend team meetings, training sessions and ride-alongs for ongoing development
  • Respond to sales inquiries, disseminate scientific information, and report Adverse Events and Product Quality Complaints

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Pharmaceutical Sales Rep: Bachelor's degree and minimum 1 year sales experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, business to business (B2B), capital equipment, medical device and/or related industry
  • Healthcare Sales Rep: Bachelor's degree and minimum 2 years sales experience in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry with documented sales success
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and successfully and independently growing and managing a territory
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex sales and technical data and develop strategic and actionable business plans
  • Experience conducting successful consultative, solutions-oriented sales calls
  • Excellent presentation skills and experience
  • Ability to quickly learn, understand and effectively communicate scientific and medical information to external customers
  • Scientific and business acumen
  • Valid US driver's license and clean driving record
  • Must live within the Montgomery, Dothan, Auburn and surrounding territory
  • Ability to comply with SOPs, policies, processes, compliance guidelines, legal and regulatory requirements
