About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work 2nd shift
  • Independently hand-finish production parts by deburring and other methods
  • Remove excess metal and surface defects from hardware, material, and assembled parts before plating or shipping
  • Select abrasive belts or wheels based on grain size, specified finish, product, and amount of metal to remove
  • Attach wheels or belts to drive mechanisms
  • Start equipment and manipulate workpieces against abrasive wheels, or portable wheels against workpieces, to remove metal and surface defects
  • Examine parts for acceptable dimensions and finish
  • Comply with EHS policies, training, instructions, and PPE requirements
  • Report accidents, incidents, near misses, and dangerous situations to management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED required)
  • Knowledge of MRP Manufacturing software
  • Knowledge of deburring process
  • Must be able to complete work with little to no supervision
  • Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
  • U.S. applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
  • For applicable positions involving US export-controlled technology, materials, software, or hardware: must be a US Person under ITAR or eligible for approval for a U.S. Government export license
