About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Operate laminating and adhesive mixing equipment safely and efficiently
  • Set up and operate equipment according to work instructions, process specifications, and standard operating procedures
  • Monitor machine performance, including temperatures, pressures, laydown rates, tracking, tension, and overall process conditions
  • Prepare and mix adhesives for production runs
  • Conduct quality inspections on raw materials and finished goods
  • Collect samples and provide materials to quality personnel
  • Move raw materials and finished inventory using forklifts, hoists, and material handling equipment
  • Record production transactions, material usage, and process data accurately
  • Perform routine machine cleaning, adhesive cleanup, and basic preventative maintenance
  • Support troubleshooting to minimize downtime and improve production efficiency
  • Assist with special projects and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain 6S standards and clean, organize, and keep work areas safe
  • Follow company safety policies, procedures, and work instructions
  • Take direction from supervisors and management
  • Perform other duties as required to support business needs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment
  • Basic computer skills and ability to enter production data
  • Strong attention to detail and quality focus
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Ability to follow instructions and take direction from management
  • Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift materials
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 70 pounds
  • Ability to work around moving equipment and manufacturing machinery
  • Ability to work in an environment containing noise, solvents, adhesives, lubricants, and other manufacturing materials
  • Ability to wear required PPE and follow all safety procedures
  • U.S. applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
  • For applicable US positions, must be a US Person under ITAR or eligible for approval for a U.S. Government export license
  • Preferred: 3+ years of manufacturing, laminating, coating, converting, or related production experience
  • Preferred: Experience operating industrial equipment such as laminators, slitters, mixers, or oxidizer systems
  • Preferred: Forklift experience
  • Preferred: Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
  • Preferred: Experience working with adhesives, coatings, or converting processes
