About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identify, control, segregate, and maintain parts used in assembly areas
  • Maintain inventory and supplies for the Assembly department
  • Store parts properly
  • Pull parts shortages for assembly orders
  • Count and maintain inventory and shortages
  • Expedite parts through Receiving, Quality, and Assembly departments
  • Enter inventory data into the computer system
  • Complete necessary inventory documentation
  • Work independently, handle change, stay focused under pressure, and work overtime as needed
  • Tackle problems, overcome obstacles, and develop alternative solutions
  • Work with the Supervisor and Manager to navigate issues
  • Establish priorities and manage time to achieve department productivity goals
  • Complete tasks and paperwork accurately and professionally
  • Contribute to team projects and collaborate with other departments
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workplace
  • Comply with EHS policies and instructions
  • Report accidents, incidents, near misses, and dangerous situations to management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma
  • 3–5 years in a manufacturing / assembly environment is desired
