About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for assigned OEM customers.
  • Drive revenue growth and secure long-term production and aftermarket business.
  • Manage strategic relationships with major aerospace and defense manufacturers across commercial, business, and rotorcraft sectors.
  • Develop new relationships with market disruptors and in additive manufacturing, drones, powerplants, and data centers.
  • Identify new platform opportunities from aircraft development through production and sustainment.
  • Lead pricing, contract, and long-term agreement negotiations.
  • Coordinate with Product Line Directors, Engineering, Program Management, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Quality.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive activity.
  • Develop forecasts and sales pipeline reports.
  • Represent the company at customer sites and industry events.
  • Ensure compliance with customer and export requirements.
  • Serve as the primary commercial interface between customers and internal engineering, operations, and executive leadership.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Aviation, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of aerospace OEM sales/business development experience, preferred.
  • Experience selling aerospace accessories, electromechanical products, avionics, or aircraft components.
  • Knowledge of commercial and military aerospace procurement.
  • Experience negotiating large contracts.
  • Strong executive communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to travel 40% - 50%.
  • Knowledge of aerospace accessories, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, fuel systems, vapor cycle and environmental control systems, actuators, and sensors preferred.
  • Strong strategic thinking, sales and business acumen.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to interpret market data, financials, and operational metrics.
  • Demonstrated leadership and decision-making capability.
  • Proficient in complex negotiations, contract management and executive relationship management.
  • Proven track record of penetrating new aerospace accounts and securing long-term contracts.
  • U.S. applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
  • For applicable positions involving ITAR/EAR-controlled technology, must be a U.S. Person or eligible for approval for a U.S. Government export license.
