About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for assigned OEM customers
  • Drive revenue growth and secure long-term production and aftermarket business
  • Manage strategic relationships with major aerospace and defense manufacturers across commercial, business, and rotorcraft sectors
  • Develop new relationships with market disruptors and in additive manufacturing, drones, powerplants, and data centers
  • Identify new platform opportunities from aircraft development through production and sustainment
  • Lead pricing, contract, and long-term agreement negotiations
  • Coordinate with Product Line Directors, Engineering, Program Management, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Quality
  • Monitor market trends and competitive activity
  • Develop forecasts and sales pipeline reports
  • Represent the company at customer sites and industry events
  • Ensure compliance with customer and export requirements
  • Regularly sit, talk, hear, stand, walk, and use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls; occasionally reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and lift or move up to 50 pounds
  • Comply with EHS policies, training, instructions, and PPE requirements; report accidents, incidents, near misses, and dangerous situations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Aviation, or related field; MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of aerospace OEM sales/business development experience, preferred
  • Experience selling aerospace accessories, electromechanical products, avionics, or aircraft components
  • Knowledge of commercial and military aerospace procurement
  • Experience negotiating large contracts
  • Strong executive communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to travel 40% - 50%
  • Knowledge of aerospace accessories, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, fuel systems, vapor cycle and environmental control systems, actuators, and sensors preferred
  • Strong strategic thinking, sales and business acumen
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
  • Ability to interpret market data, financials, and operational metrics
  • Demonstrated leadership and decision-making capability
  • Proficient in complex negotiations, contract management, and executive relationship management
  • Proven track record of penetrating new aerospace accounts and securing long-term contracts
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
  • For applicable positions, must be a US Person under ITAR or eligible for approval for a U.S. Government export license
