About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administer OE, spares, overhaul, and repair contracts for commercial and military customers
- Serve as account manager, customer point of contact, and administrative liaison
- Complete order review, entry, acknowledgement, and amendment processing
- Initiate contract reviews by documenting customer orders and contract flow-down requirements
- Conduct preliminary reviews and analysis of contract terms, conditions, and specific contract issues
- Review MOU, MOI, NDA, and PIA documents in coordination with management
- Ensure contract obligations are fulfilled throughout the contract duration
- Review and respond to customer contract demands with Business Development, Contracts, and Product Line Management
- Interpret contract language and consult management and corporate legal on legal interpretations
- Ensure ERP sales order entry is complete, timely, and accurate
- Maintain custody and order of contractual documents
- Communicate with customers by phone and in writing regarding contract issues
- Manage customer expectations and relationships while controlling risk and cost
- Initiate enterprise-wide contract reviews for customer proposals
- Provide input on pricing, statement of work verification, terms and conditions, draft responses, and quality and supply chain requirements
- Provide negotiation support to Business Development, Contracts, and Product Line Management
- Support Finance, Program Management, Engineering, and Compliance on contract, regulatory, government, and commercial contracting matters
- Assist in developing and implementing contract administration processes and procedures
- Support monthly SIOP meetings to ensure accurate part provisioning
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree, plus 6+ years of experience preferred
- Extremely strong customer service skills
- Strong business acumen and positive attitude
- Experience in a high-volume quoting and contract award environment
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Superior organization and closing skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Excel mastery desired
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of JDE ERP system preferred
- Previous contract administration experience in the aerospace industry
- FAR and government contracting experience and knowledge preferred
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
- For applicable US positions, must be a US Person under ITAR or eligible for approval for a U.S. Government export license
