About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a liaison between suppliers, Triumph Engineering, and Triumph Quality
  • Drive process improvements in the supplier base based on internal operational challenges
  • Facilitate productive technical communications between Engineering and suppliers
  • Uphold quality and process system requirements
  • Manage review and disposition of supplier non-conformities
  • Support supplier root cause and corrective action (RCCA) processes
  • Bring cost-reduction ideas to suppliers and Engineering
  • Conduct onsite supplier risk assessments
  • Manage poor-performing suppliers using quality data trend analysis
  • Assess supplier capabilities before supplier selection
  • Support supplier non-conformance issues on legacy products
  • Identify manufacturability improvements and address delivery, part execution, and quality issues

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor or Associate degree in technical field
  • Experience working in a technical capacity in a manufacturing environment, preferably on cross-functional teams
  • Experience working with external manufacturers and/or service providers
  • Ability to define problems, analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Creative, quality, and results-driven work ethic
  • Strong PC skills, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
  • Approximately 20% travel required
  • Experience with aerospace specifications and quality systems preferred
  • Lean Manufacturing experience is a plus
  • U.S. applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
  • For applicable positions, must be a U.S. Person under ITAR or eligible for approval for a U.S. Government export license
