About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and assemble components using assembly test procedures, blueprints, and written engineering instructions
- Adhere to specifications for subassemblies and assemblies using inspection equipment such as OD and ID micrometers, height gages, and dial calipers
- Test units according to Customer Acceptance Test Procedures and engineering instructions
- Meet production deadlines by following correct product-completion procedures
- Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit and fastening parts and subassemblies
- Ensure product quality by testing assembled parts according to specifications and quality control procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Comply with EHS policies, training, instructions, and PPE requirements
- Report accidents, incidents, near misses, and dangerous situations to management
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma, or equivalent
- Technical or vocational training desired
- 3 years in aviation maintenance, military or manufacturing
- Strong mechanical aptitude with substantial acquaintance with and understanding of technical aspects of the job
- Experience with mechanical and/or hydraulic assembly work
- Ability to understand and follow instructions
- Ability to concentrate
- Ability to work as part of a team and get along with others
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- U.S. applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
- For applicable positions involving US export-controlled technology, must be a US Person under ITAR or eligible for approval for a U.S. Government export license
