Key responsibilities & impact

Lead planning and design of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including pump stations, storage systems, pipelines, and related utility improvements
Prepare or oversee engineering reports, technical specifications, construction drawings, and cost estimates
Manage projects through design and support bidding and construction phases
Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, subconsultants, and internal multidisciplinary teams
Mentor junior engineers and technical staff and contribute to team development
Participate in client meetings, proposal development, and business development efforts
Assist with project scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning
Perform other duties as required

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
Professional Engineer (PE) license required
10+ years of experience in water/wastewater engineering design, preferably in a consulting environment
Strong experience with municipal water and wastewater systems design
Proven ability to prepare plans, specifications, engineering reports, and design calculations
Knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal regulations
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines effectively
