About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead Product and Technology initiatives from concept to launch
- Serve as a bridge between Product, Engineering, Information Security, Legal, and teams across multiple time zones
- Drive end-to-end delivery of new initiatives and programs
- Ensure all work is represented in Jira according to Product & Technology standards
- Track and communicate initiative progress against milestones to stakeholders and leadership
- Supervise dependencies, plan releases, and resolve blocked issues
- Identify and mitigate program risks, remove blockers, advance progress, and escalate to leadership when appropriate
- Manage complex, cross-functional programs and lead planning and execution of high-impact programs
- Create and maintain team roadmaps with Engineering and Product leaders
- Manage team capacity and analyze the impact of priority changes
- Lead Agile/Scrum teams as a coach or scrum master and facilitate Agile ceremonies
- Build, lead, and supervise release plans across multiple initiatives
- Prepare project schedules, define milestones, and develop project plans and playbooks
- Champion operational and process changes
- Promote and evolve processes that synchronize Product & Technology with the business
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2–5 years of experience in program management in software development delivery teams
- Understanding of software development processes and Agile SDLC
- Ability to create release plans for multiple cross-functional team releases
- Ability to identify and track cross-team dependencies
- Ability to construct release plans with limited data and assumptions
- Ability to measure convergence on milestones and launch dates
- Ability to identify trade-offs and drive timely decisions
- Ability to build processes and implement process optimizations while delivering program commitments
- Broad product and technology domain knowledge
- Understanding of system integration across the product ecosystem
- Ability to navigate competing product and technical priorities and identify risks and mitigations
- Ability to collaborate and coordinate with multiple team members
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing business requirements and work in an agile environment
- Clear verbal and written communication, including communicating technical information to non-technical audiences
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to lead multiple large cross-functional programs and releases
- Ability to provide thought leadership and persuade teams to follow guidance
- Bachelor's degree or relevant, recent, and commensurate professional experience
- Strong Jira administration and tooling experience is a bonus
- Experience working across multiple time zones is preferred
