About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain Python applications, data pipelines, analytics routines, and reporting solutions for Brokerage
  • Acquire, cleanse, transform, reconcile, and analyze brokerage data from internal and external sources
  • Produce reusable analyses, dashboards, and data products for business performance, service levels, exceptions, risk indicators, and operational trends
  • Translate business requirements into technical and analytical solutions with Brokerage product, operations, data, risk, and technology partners
  • Apply software engineering practices including modular design, source control, peer review, automated testing, documentation, and secure development
  • Implement data-quality checks, lineage, reconciliation, exception handling, and audit-ready controls
  • Troubleshoot data defects, production incidents, performance issues, and analytical discrepancies; perform root-cause analysis
  • Participate in requirements refinement, solution design, development, testing, deployment, production support, and continuous improvement
  • Integrate Python and analytics solutions with enterprise platforms, APIs, databases, file-transfer mechanisms, and workflow tools
  • Communicate findings, risks, dependencies, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience or equivalent education and software engineering training or work-related experience
  • In-depth knowledge of information systems and ability to implement IT best practices
  • Understanding of business processes and competitive strategies related to IT
  • Experience supporting Brokerage, broker-dealer, wealth management, capital markets, or financial-services operations
  • Knowledge of brokerage concepts and data, including client and account records, securities, positions, balances, trades, transactions, products, fees, suitability, supervision, or regulatory reporting
  • Experience with Python data and analytics libraries such as pandas, NumPy, or PySpark
  • Experience developing dashboards, operational reporting, or data visualisations using Power BI or Tableau
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint, or Salesforce
  • Experience integrating low-code solutions with APIs, databases, enterprise data platforms, or workflow processes
  • Experience with cloud data platforms, distributed processing, or enterprise analytics environments
  • Experience with Git-based source control, continuous integration and delivery, automated testing, and open-source tools or frameworks
  • Familiarity with financial-services controls, data governance, privacy, risk management, and regulatory requirements
  • Unrestricted, permanent U.S. work authorization required; no visa sponsorship or immigration-related support
  • English language fluency required
