About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Collect delinquent accounts according to agreed-upon collection strategies and applicable policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Achieve collection performance expectations for assigned accounts, including call volume, contact percentage, promises/calls ratio, and promises kept
  • Provide cure plans and negotiate payment arrangements based on clients’ ability and willingness to pay
  • Disclose relevant account information accurately, professionally, and positively
  • Manage client communications and provide accurate account details while meeting compliance and quality expectations
  • Work accounts thoroughly, including contact attempts and required letters
  • Document collection efforts and relevant system codes in the system of record
  • Execute established call scripts
  • Achieve acceptable call monitoring scores
  • Communicate with Client Default Leaders regarding repossessions, potential loss, inquiries, complaints, and calls requiring special handling
  • Process payments, transactions, and workflows accurately
  • Complete required Computer Based Training courses accurately and on time

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent education and related training or experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime as needed
  • Previous client service, collections, or sales experience preferred
  • Bilingual preferred
  • English language fluency required
