About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identify, solicit, develop, manage, service, retain and grow long-term profitable commercial relationships for clients with $5MM to $75MM in annual sales
  • Offer a full range of loan, deposit, and fee-based services to existing and prospective commercial clients
  • Leverage the CCB Industry & Advisory teams to create the optimal client experience
  • Refer business and personal financial needs of assigned clients through the appropriate channel according to Integrated Relationship Management (IRM)
  • Manage, service and grow an assigned book of commercial banking clients
  • Execute prospecting activities to grow new commercial banking households
  • Contribute to the credit decisioning process, including financial statement analysis and interpretation, credit structuring, underwriting, policy knowledge, and risk identification and mitigation
  • Drive continual improvement in portfolio revenue growth and new production revenue
  • Proactively contact clients to fully develop commercial banking relationships by executing IRM principles
  • Identify business and personal financial needs and bring in appropriate partners to deliver Truist solutions
  • Monitor, maintain and update sales activity, pipeline, and other pertinent information using the Bank's CRM system
  • Execute all risk, operational, policy and quality expectations related to the assigned client portfolio

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years working experience or equivalent education and related training
  • One year related experience in banking or financial services
  • Basic understanding of credit and finance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
  • English language fluency required
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial statements
  • Knowledge of credit structuring and underwriting requirements
  • Policy knowledge and ability to identify and mitigate risk
  • Ability to execute risk, operational, policy and quality expectations related to an assigned client portfolio
