About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage, lead, and train a minimum of ten Commercial Client Specialists as direct reports
  • Provide support to the CSSL and Regional Sales Leadership
  • Serve primarily as a management role while providing player/coach regional coverage as needed
  • Oversee sales support, including pipeline accuracy, call preparation, Financial Insights, deposit account opening and onboarding, Treasury onboarding, client follow-up, and CRM data accuracy
  • Support sales processes and portfolio growth by identifying referral opportunities and partnering with Relationship Managers and IRM partners
  • Support banker teams by pulling reports, participating in meetings, completing follow-up, and communicating clearly
  • Oversee superior client service and timely resolution of client needs
  • Oversee servicing of commercial loans, deposits, and fee services, including forms, account opening, payments, fraud resolution, research, wire processing, and maintenance
  • Assist with portfolio management, reporting, and escalation
  • Oversee general loan support, loan-process communication, regulatory compliance support, client-information collection, research, and loan-documentation exception resolution
  • Support problem-loan management and collection activities
  • Lead regional projects and special tasks
  • Complete hiring, training, goal-setting, performance evaluations, salary-adjustment recommendations, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions for direct reports

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School diploma, or equivalent education and related training
  • Three years of experience in CCS role or equivalent job experience
  • Very good written and verbal communication skills
  • Very good organizational skills
  • Ability to complete all core courses outlined in the CCS training curriculum
  • Working product knowledge of bank services and Financial Services Industry
  • Math aptitude and ability to grasp general accounting and financial concepts
  • Ability to identify, analyze and resolve technical problems independently related to automated loan and deposit systems, collateral, and documentation
  • Aptitude for supervisory responsibility and leadership
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
  • Working knowledge of Excel and/or reporting applications
  • English language fluency required
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and related training
  • Preferred: Two years of experience in a leadership role
  • Preferred: Prior experience in a Commercial loan or similar environment
  • Preferred: Strong working knowledge of Commercial operations or equivalent experience
